COLLECTION POLICIES, CANCELLATIONS AND PENALTIES FOR RESERVATIONS OF TOURIST PACKAGES AND FLIGHTS.
This document is extremely important and must be read by the client before contracting any service from our company.
Destinos Tu Mundo organizes trips, tourist routes and works hand in hand with tourist providers (Airlines, hotels, restaurants, travel insurers, travel agencies, tourist guides, etc.).
When you contract a service with us and make the corresponding payment, reservations are made with direct providers, separating the available spaces or seats in advance.
Destinos Tu Mundo has created collection, cancellation and penalty policies for any change or modification of reservations incurred by the client, since these modifications affect reservations with service providers who, in turn, have established collection policies. that have to be borne by customers.
1. NO PRESENTATION (NO SHOW):
When the user of the tourist services fails to show up or not use the agreed services, Destinos Tu Mundo will automatically cancel the reservation and there will be no refund of any contracted service. 100% of the value of the Tourist Package or Tour is charged.
2. CANCELLATION OF THE TOUR OR TOUR PACKAGE BY THE CLIENT:
If a client wishes to cancel their reservation, they must submit a request in writing or by email duly signed and with a copy of their identity document or passport. Cancellation fees apply in all cases, the exact amount of which depends on the date the cancellation request is made.

All payments and deposit amounts made for travel related to flights are not refunded due to applicable limits and airline regulations. If the trip must be postponed for any reason, an administrative fee must be paid, please check the amount with your travel advisor, in addition to any costs incurred due to outsourced services. Any remaining amount can be used when the client takes a future trip with the company. If you wish to end a tour voluntarily, the decision to provide a refund rests entirely with Destinos Tu Mundo. In case you are unable to use the services offered, such as transportation, accommodation, food and sightseeing, no refund will be provided. You should have a travel insurance policy that can cover you if you face cancellation charges.
These penalties apply even if the reservation is made between the established date ranges and may vary according to the Season or special events such as holidays and parties, etc.
3. CANCELLATION OR CHANGE OF RESERVATION DUE TO JUSTIFIED FORCE MAJEURE
When the client cancels his trip for a justified reason, illness or death, it must be no less than twenty-four (24) hours before the trip, the request will only be taken into account if the supporting documents justifying the cancellation are received: (a) Disability EPS medical certificate, (b) death certificate, etc. Once the supports are received, we proceed to process before the service providers (Hotels, operators, etc.) the exoneration or settlement of penalties or differences caused by changes in dates, said process does not exempt the traveler or travelers from paying the penalty, the which will only be returned in the event that the providers resolve to waive the cancellation charge, Destinos Tu Mundo will have a term of no more than thirty (30) business days following the date on which the request was filed with the providers.
The valid supports are the following:
1. In case of illness:
- a) Medical disability issued by the EPS.
- b) Copy of the EPS card.
- c) Copy of the identity documents of the people who are not traveling.
2. In case of death:
- a) Death certificate.
- b) Copy of the identity documents of the people who are not traveling.
- c) Signed letter from the passengers informing the reason why they are not traveling, indicating the degree of consanguinity of the deceased person.
Destinos Tu Mundo acts only as an intermediary in the contracting and organization of tourist packages or tours. Our company supports its clients in difficult situations, but is not responsible if some of the providers, due to established policies, decide not to reimburse the contracted service.
Penalties
A. Hotels: The value corresponding to the first night will be charged, however, the Hotel will proceed to request the waiver of the penalty, it will depend on the anticipation with which the cancellation is made and will be subject to the approval by the Hotel.
B. Receptive additional services: services that have been paid as an additional value will be reimbursed at 80%. The services that are included in the trip will be reimbursed at 80% of the net rate that Destinos Tu Mundo has negotiated with the Provider. Receptives that are handled as courtesies will not be reimbursed. If the cancellation is made less than 24 hours in advance, the NO SHOW conditions will apply.
C. Flights: The flights included in the price of the package are not refundable for cancellations. It is possible to make changes to the date or name of the passenger with a cost depending on the type of flight purchased according to the policies of each airline.
EXTENSION AND EXTENSION OF TOURISM SERVICES:
When the user wishes to extend or extend the agreed services, he must notify the provider with reasonable anticipation, subject to availability and quota. The costs caused by the modifications and changes will be assumed in full by the client or user without responsibility on the part of Destinos Tu Mundo.
4. CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS BY TU MUNDO DESTINATIONS:
Although Destinos Tu Mundo always makes every effort to run all tours as planned, it is sometimes necessary to change a tour in any way, usually due to existing local conditions. By accepting this agreement, you agree to all changes that may take place.
Depending on the situation, the company has the full right to cancel or modify the services, facilities or prices it offers for accommodation, flights and other required arrangements. Destinos Tu Mundo also has the right to replace these services with other suitable options. The company has the right to cancel a tour entirely if it deems it appropriate due to a natural disaster, terrorism, political situation, or any other external circumstance during which the operation of the tour may be prone to risk. If the trip has to be canceled because of us, you can make use of an alternative tour or get your full money except for the 10% deposit. If any expenses arise due to your vaccinations, visas, flights or any other reason, we will not be responsible for it.
5. CHANGES BY THE CLIENT:
If you wish to change your travel itinerary after you have already received confirmation from us, you will need to pay a fee (check with your travel advisor). Other costs incurred in the process will also be payable by you. However, we will do our best to accommodate changes and requests and make sure everything lives up to your expectations, but we cannot guarantee these.
Any changes you want to make to flights or train tickets, you need to send us almost 45 business days before the actual departure date of the trip. Even if you inform us well in advance, there is a chance that requested changes may also be refused. If you ask us to make changes (packages with hotel, flights and train tickets) when there are only 30 days or less left until the trip, we will not accept them. For full day tours or individual tours, we can accept modifications up to 15 days (check charge with your travel advisor) before the start of the tour. In case of a change in the original reservation, the person to whom it has been entitled must do so.
6. ENDORSEMENTS:
If any member of your group is unable to attend the trip, the reservation can be transferred to someone else, if you submit the request in writing. This should be when there are more than 45 days left for the trip. Consider that some service providers (airlines, train, etc.) according to their policies charge penalties for changes or endorsements. If you have booked the Inca Trail trek in the city of Cusco, no changes can be made to names, dates or passport numbers once your request has been completed. Please note that the issued walking ticket is non-transferable and non-refundable. As such, your deposit will not be refunded. This is because we cannot resell your admission ticket to another customer after you cancel it.
